Since I became President in 2004, Takashima Group has placed “sustainability” at the core of its management and has developed businesses that adapt to society’s needs, aiming to become an “advanced sustainability trading company.”
Our mission is not only to pursue economic prosperity but also to leave a rich global environment and a vibrant society and culture for future generations. To date, we have pioneered businesses closely aligned with the resolution of social issues, including solar panels and insulation materials that support energy conservation. By constantly evolving our businesses and continuing to provide solutions that meet the needs of a changing society, we will achieve both sustainable growth and contribute to a sustainable society.
Under the new Medium-Term Management Plan 2028, “Sustainability + Spiral (Sustainable Positive Spiral),” we have established “labor-saving,” “resource-saving,” and “renewable-energy” as the three strategic themes and will further refine related solutions from the field. In addition, we will focus on developing “human assets,” the driving force of growth, promote the development of “career-type human assets” who proactively provide social value, and work together to realize a future in which the next generation can live prosperous lives.
